In 2022 I purchased a Leica camera as my new personal camera to carry around with me. I probably shouldn’t be so open about my feelings on here, but I hate iPhone/cell phone photography and my canon gear, as much as I love the performance of that gear, they became work cameras and too difficult to carry around with three kids. I just wanted to find a way to take good photos as I go through life. After months of contemplating going back to a small film camera, working with a go pro, and even playing with different filters on the iPhone, I settled on the Leica D-Lux7.
It started a knew journey for me, I didn’t realize my lack of love for the iPhone camera had stopped me from photographing my kids, I stopped covering time, which is the best part of photography. The Leica brought me back to where I’m supposed to be. So I started journaling, these are some outtakes that will be updated more than my other pages on this site.
