Terence Guider Photography
Greetings,
My name is Terence Guider, and I’m a storyteller.
I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years and fortunate to tell amazing stories with my camera and lens: Major news events, sporting events, corporate events and marketing, community life, concerts and festivals. Some of my photos have been front-page news stories published across the country as well in popular magazines. I have worked with commercial clients and their ad agencies, including producing stunning executive portraits. I particularly enjoy food photography as both assignments and a hobby.
My photojournalistic roots influence how I prefer capturing life… my subjects… because life is fluid, dynamic, situations that are unique, and capturing those raw moments into stillness will always be critical to capture, illustrate. My experience as both a professional photographer and business owner makes me responsive to the needs of clients, producing high quality work efficiently. My incessant commitment to every client is, “My best work ever!”
Nearly 30 years ago, I picked up a camera and my world expanded exponentially for a then, five year-old. My hobby, my passion became my camera. During high school, I reconciled myself to know photography would become my life’s work after a Presidential Commission toured my high school (Naperville Central HS) and requested to meet me after viewing my restorative photography on display. Combining my interests in history and photography, after having my Bachelor of Arts conferred by Columbia College, in Chicago, IL, I began a photojournalism internship, which led to a position with a major media group. Outside of my photography, my passions are my two boys Jonas (who’s also an inspiring photographer), and my son Jude, and my lovely wife of 8 years, Mary. Couldn’t ask for a more supportive group.
If you’re ever looking for a story to be told, we should talk. Bless Up and I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me.
